Feast of St. Brigid Celebration

The Gerber Institute would like to invite Newman faculty and staff for a celebration of Catholic tradition and culture on the Feast of St. Brigid, February 1, from 3-5pm in the Alumni Center.

We will learn a bit about St. Brigid’s life and the celebration of the saints in Catholic tradition. Along with that, we will discuss St. Brigid’s vision of a lake of beer in heaven, and, in honor of her Irish heritage, we will share some Guinness and other Irish treats.
