The Gerber Institute along with Staff Assembly co-hosted the Annual Prayer Breakfast on March 27th. The theme of the breakfast was “Today I Choose Joy” and was a celebration of true joy in our lives through the power of God.
The breakfast was a wonderful representation of the Newman Community with participation from students, staff and faculty. The Newman University Troubadours performed as well as sophomore Nate Siple. Dr Gina Marx provided the keynote speech and linked spiritual joy to the actual physical effects of joy in our lives.
The event was well attended with over 120 in the audience which included students, staff, faculty, members of the ASC community and members of the Newman Board of Trustees.
The date for next year’s March 31st. 2016.
